Manchester Momentum invites you to special event/networking lunch on 15 May

Manchester Momentum welcomes university colleagues to its third special event and networking lunch: "The Global Marketplace: exploring opportunities for International Growth," on Tuesday 15 May, 8.45am-1pm, in the Core Technology Facility.

Manchester Momentum is a unique knowledge community devoted to nurturing the growth of commercial ventures that have an affiliation with the University; namely, spin-out, incubating and science park businesses.

Momentum is partnering with UK Trade and Investment (UKT&I) to deliver this upcoming event, which will focus on how businesses can benefit from trading internationally. It also provides an excellent opportunity for university colleagues to network and develop relationships with Manchester Momentum's business members.

The event tackles issues faced by businesses who are seeking to identify overseas markets, which can often be seen as a complex, time-consuming, expensive and perhaps a risky endeavor. It will reveal a wealth of expertise available to help businesses take the first step into new markets.

A number of International Business Advisers are also attending the event and will be able to discuss potential opportunities for international market growth with businesses.

Participants will get an insight into:

  • Accessing the UKT&I resource and funding to grow existing, or explore new, international markets.
  • How businesses can be competitive and create growth in the global marketplace.
