Extended deadline: share how your work impacts the Sustainable Development Goals

09 Apr 2021

We're looking for case studies showing how you are tackling the Sustainable Development Goals

Sustainable Development Goals

We have extended the deadline for you to share any examples of how you are contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals. You can fill in our short survey by Friday, 23 April 2021.

The United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the world’s call to action on the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing humanity and the natural world, and we’re playing a leading role in tackling them.

The quality and scale of our impact against the SDGs was ranked first in the UK and second in Europe in 2020 in the Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings.

We know that many of you are already playing an active role in achieving one or more of the 17 different SDGs through your work – be it through your research, teaching, outreach work or professional services activities.

As part of our University’s social responsibility strategic priorities and our responsibility as an SDG Accord signatory, we are continuing to collect data and investigate how as a University we contribute to sustainable development.

Following on from our 2019 SDG Report, we are developing a second publication and a micro-site to display our further activity on the SDGs.

We therefore would like you to share how you or your work is contributing to the SDGs by filling in our short survey by Friday, 23 April 2021. The survey takes less than ten minutes per example to complete.
