Organised by the NCeSS Hub at The University of Manchester, this one-day workshop will consist of six invited presentations and a wrap-up discussion.

The themes to be explored will cover:

• What and how ontologies technologies are used in social sciences?
• How do ontology technologies help social scientists advance their research?
• How ontologies in humanities and social sciences are developed and how knowledge is managed through ontologies?
