25 March marks the 200th anniversary of the Abolition of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade Act in Britain - The Manchester Museum (along with seven other museums and galleries in Greater Manchester) will be marking this with Revealing Histories: Remembering Slavery - a programme of performances an events to examine the history and legacy of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade and the way it has shaped British Society.
