Your donations to good causes via our payroll giving scheme have surpassed £1,250,000!
During 2020 alone donations reached £147,757 which is an increase of over 7% from 2019. The top five charities being supported by you are Shelter, Oxfam, UNICEF, WaterAid and Cancer Research UK.
This incredible support is particularly welcome by charities who have supported us, our families and our communities throughout the pandemic. With charity shops closed and fundraising events cancelled it is estimated charities will be facing a £10bn funding gap.
Payroll Giving is considered the best way to support your favourite charity or charities. A regular monthly donation of £10 from your take-home pay to your chosen charity will be automatically boosted (at no cost to you) to £12.50 for a 20% rate tax payer and £16.66 for a 40% rate tax payer. Giving this way helps your charity receive regular financial support and helps smaller charities in particular, as many do not have the resource to claim back Gift Aid.
