Make a child "eggstra" happy this Easter!

15 Feb 2007

Wood Street Easter Egg Project 2007

Once again Wood Street Mission will be handing out Easter eggs to children at Easter time.  Last year, the University collected 800+ Easter eggs purchased by members of staff, in addition to monetary donations.  The support from the members of staff has been tremendous throughout the year and I hope that this year's Easter Project will be as successful as 2006.

To avoid having Easter eggs left over after Easter, Wood Street ask that any Easter eggs are with them by no later than 23 March. This is the date when the van will come to collect them from Sackville Street so I must receive them by 22 March at the latest. If anyone wishes to give a financial contribution towards the Project this would help them pay for the extra volunteers needed to help distribute the Easter eggs as well as the extra van collections that will need to be undertaken to collect them all!

If you wish to give an Easter egg(s) or make a donation, please contact me or the Treasurer at the following email addresses so that arrangements can be made to collect them:

I will pick up any email messages on my return to the University on 5 March 2007.

Thank you once again for your continued support.
