A message from Nancy Rothwell, President and Vice-Chancellor

Dear colleagues

Since the beginning of lockdown a number of colleagues have left or are planning to leave our University for a variety of reasons.  Some have taken voluntary severance or reached the end of their contracts whilst others have left for new jobs or retired after many years of loyal service to our University.

When colleagues leave there is usually the opportunity to get together face-to-face to say thank you and goodbye and I know that some of these events have been taking place via Zoom until the time comes when people can get together in person.

I wanted to take the opportunity to thank all of those colleagues who are leaving our University for the contributions they have made during their time with us and wish you well for your future plans.
