Learn to dance salsa at lunchtime

Learn to dance salsa in a friendly supportive atmosphere with Manchester's most creative and innovative salsa teacher. Carlito is well known around the Manchester salsa scene for his infectious enthusiastic lessons and is particularly good at turning complete beginners into dancers. He has been teaching Salsa on the University campus for 18 months.

Two levels of salsa classes are held each week in the UMSA Activities Room on the first floor of the University Refectory between Burlington Street and Lime Grove.

EVERY MONDAY
12.15pm - 1.15pm: Improvers/Intermediate

For the more advanced Salsero. No partner required. Partners are rotated every few minutes. This class teaches a mixture of salsa styles.

EVERY TUESDAY
1.15pm - 2.15pm - Absolute Beginners

No partner or previous experience required. Two left feet not an obstacle. Partners are rotated every few minutes. You will be dancing salsa within minutes of arrival and will return to work with a smile on your face.

UMSA salsa classes £2.50 (UMSA members) and £3.50 (non-members). New members welcome for both classes. You can join in any week.
