Showing support for the NHS

One member of staff has been showing her support for the NHS in a unique way.

After hearing that NHS workers were in desperate need of hand cream because of the toll of extra sanitising was taking on their hands, Katharine Wright, who used to work for the NHS and now works in FBMH as a PA, collected up all the unopened samples of hand cream she had at home and boxed them up for her local hospital. She also threw in some spare surgical masks she had at home for a craft project. 

She would encourage other colleagues to use their local NHS social media channels to reach out and see what other extras they might be in need of. Katharine said: “I strongly recommend using your extra commute time to have a sort out at home!”
