An update on campus car parks

25 Mar 2020

Car park accessibility on campus

This advice is correct at the time of publication of this news article.

If you have health concerns then you should refer to the NHS website, however to make other queries regarding the current situation you can email Coronavirus-info@manchester.ac.uk.

NCP has decided to close the Aquatics Car Park for at least the next three weeks, due to the current Government advice on non-essential travel and resulting low usage of the car park.

Key staff members who are on campus and would normally park at the Aquatics Centre can access Cecil, Dilworth and Charles Street Car Parks without a permit or pass as the barriers have been raised and will remain this way until the University reopens non-essential facilities.

Please note that Booth Street West Car Park is closed for security purposes.

  • We'd like to remind staff that following on from the Government's guidance on staying at home in relation to coronavirus (Covid-19), travel should be avoided unless it is essential.
