It’s Time conversion and clearing campaign

Following on from the success of ‘It’s Time’ in 2019, we will be running this late conversion and clearing campaign again, this time with even more content, joined-up working and impact for our audiences

It's Time

The objective of this CIM Marketing Excellence award-nominated campaign, is two-fold - to differentiate The University of Manchester from other universities in a crowded marketplace over the clearing period, via impactful branding and messaging, and to create excitement around coming to Manchester for our offer holders. The campaign will be run jointly between Student Communications and Marketing, the Division of Communications and Marketing, University of Manchester Worldwide (UMW) and the three Faculties.

The scope of It’s Time is to start to showcase the University in mid-April when potential applicants and offer holders are revising and looking ahead to University life, with more content over the early summer, and then clearing-specific messaging in July-August.

We would really encourage you to use the branding at this point of the cycle in any externally facing marketing, so that we are representing our University in one cohesive way. Over the coming weeks we will share a content pack for colleagues’ use, including key dates, messaging and assets and updates will continue to be released via Staffnet, eUpdate and local internal communication channels. 

We would like to invite teams across the University to be involved in It’s Time, and to use the branding and messaging where appropriate, and you can do this by contacting if you are a central team, or your Faculty Marketing Team if you are based within a School.
