Our Cycle to Work Scheme limit soars!

The scheme limit is increasing from £1,000 to £2,820 in line with the Annual Season Ticket Loan Scheme
Since 2010 our Cycle to Work Scheme has offered staff a way to access a bike up to £1,000 to use for commuting to work. In light of new Government guidance we can now offer higher priced bikes to our staff via our provider Cyclescheme. This will support staff being able to access electric bikes mobility bikes, higher quality bikes and safety equipment.
Environmental sustainability is core to the University’s vision and strategic plan which is aligned with the City’s zero carbon by 2038 target. The updated Cycle to Work Scheme will give more staff increased cycling options to help tackle congestion, improve air quality and enhance health and wellbeing. And don’t forget staff can log their sustainable commute as an action on 10,000 Actions.

To celebrate the launch we are inviting all staff who cycle to work to share photos of themselves on their bikes to @uombenefits Twitter with the #ILoveToRideMyBike or alternatively please email to uombenefits@manchester.ac.uk so that your photos may be included in future cycling articles and promotions!
Anyone who enters the Cycle to Work Scheme before the 31st March 2020 will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win a £100 Cycle Choice gift card, courtesy of Cyclescheme.
