Error in pay deductions for strike action

We have become aware today that colleagues who took industrial action last year have received payslips stating that the full deduction for all strike action they took over November and December has been applied in this month’s pay.
This is a genuine error for which I sincerely apologise.
As you know our intention was to deduct pay for strike action taken in November 2019 in January 2020 and for December 2019 strike action in February 2020. This intention has not changed and we are working to rectify the mistake before pay day on Thursday 30 January.
If any member of staff incurs bank charges as a result of any delays in reimbursing their December strike days beyond 30 January they should contact their HR partner as soon as possible.
Once again I apologise for the error and any inconvenience this may have caused.
