Women’s Institute Christmas meeting

The University Women’s Institute (WI) will hold its final meeting of 2019 on Thursday, 5 December, 1-2pm in the UMSA Room, Simon Building Wellbeing Rooms.

You are very welcome to join us for lunch and Christmas card making, and find out what we have planned for 2020.

You may have heard that our WI came close to closure a few months ago as we have a small membership and needed new committee members. While we had a new President come forward, we still need to recruit more members to ensure the future of our group.

The University of Manchester Busy Bees WI will now meet only on the first Thursday of every month (apart from January where we will meet on the 9th instead of the 2nd). Our meetings have a speaker or activity, so we plan to have more chances to socialise and do activities outside our usual meeting time.

The WI is open to anyone who identifies as a woman – students, staff, visitors and the local community.
