Recognition for our Payroll Giving Scheme

The University of Manchester’s Payroll Giving Scheme has been shortlisted for the Best Sustained Scheme (7,000 – 29,999 staff) category in the National Payroll Giving Excellence Awards.
This is a fantastic achievement for all staff who have donated so much over many years. Earlier this year the scheme donations exceeded £1 million. This reflected the generosity of our staffing community and was highlighted in the award submission.
The top five charities being supported by university staff via our scheme are Oxfam, Shelter, Save the Children, Cancer Research UK and NSPCC but there are many small local and international charities benefitting from your kindness and generosity.
