Luke Georghiou update

Message from the President and Vice-Chancellor

I am sorry to advise you that Deputy President and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Luke Georghiou was taken ill unexpectedly last week and is in hospital recovering from surgery. He is in intensive care at present.

Luke will be away from the University for some time while he is recovering, and his meetings and commitments will be covered by other colleagues.

I’d like to thank all his friends and colleagues for their concerns and best wishes for Luke at this time.

We wish him all the best for a speedy recovery.
