GlobalProtect VPN access issues - resolved

On 12 August, staff experienced issues logging into GlobalProtect

Original message (8.18am):

IT Services are aware that some people are having issues accessing the GlobalProtect Virtual Private Network

In the meantime, while this is being fixed, staff can use the Outlook Web App.

This article will be updated when we have more information, including a time to fix.

Update 1 (9:44am)

The issue which caused connectivity problems to GlobalProtect has been resolved. However, if you're still having problems, please try a reboot or follow these instructions:

  1. Click the GlobalProtect icon in the system tray/menu bar
  2. Click the cog icon
  3. Click Settings
  4. Click Sign Out and OK the User Credential message
  5. You should now be able to log in as normal
