24 Jul 2019

There are currently a number of school governor vacancies in local schools in Salford, Manchester and Rochdale

Three governing boards are looking for University staff who can demonstrate a range of skills relating to the role of school governor.

Vacancy details:

  • A school looking for a local authority governor, so we particularly want to hear from staff who reside in the Rochdale borough;
  • A Salford school that serves a tough neighbourhood facing real challenges. It was rated 'Good' at its last Ofsted inspection and is a long-standing partner school of the Tutor Trust;
  • A high school based in Chorlton, Manchester.

If you would be interested in finding out more about these positions, or would like more information about becoming a school governor, please email alison.gregory@manchester.ac.uk or visit our School Governor Initiative page.
