Latest developments in vision and strategic plan
The University’s new Vision and Purpose statements were discussed by Nancy at the recent Senior Leadership Team open meeting.
Developed with the input of colleagues through the Our Future consultation, they are:
- Our Purpose: To advance education, knowledge and wisdom for the good of society.
- Our Vision: We will be recognised globally for the excellence of our people, research, learning and innovation, and for the benefits we bring to society and the environment
The Vision and Purpose are the latest developments as part of the process of creating our new strategic plan. Last month the names of the SLT members who will lead our seven strategic themes were revealed. These leads are now writing Viewpoint blogs on how these themes are progressing.
