Update on network storage performance issues

Some staff and students may be experiencing issues accessing space on P: drives or shared drives

IT Services are aware of the issue and are investigating this with the supplier as a matter of urgency.

As of yet, there is no known time to fix, but we'll update this news article with any information as it comes through.

Update 1: 4.45pm Friday 14 June

Network storage performance has improved, and we will continue to monitor the service. In the meantime, if you experience any IT issues over the weekend, please telephone the IT Support Centre on 0161 306 5544.

Update 2: 09:10am Monday 17 June

After monitoring over the weekend, performance has remained stable, so we believe this issue is now fixed as of Friday afternoon. Unless the issue reoccurs, we do not plan any further updates to this news article.
