Cancer peer support group to mark first anniversary

It is coming up to one year since the University established the Peer Support Group for those impacted by cancer

The group has met a few times and been able to develop useful resources for staff to access.

To mark the one year anniversary we have invited a speaker from MacMillan Cancer Support to come to the next meeting on Thursday, 4 April.  This will be an opportunity to find out about support available for anyone impacted by cancer.  It will also be a chance to talk with people from the University in a confidential and supportive environment and discuss future ideas for the group and its activities.
