Fancy a holiday?

13 Mar 2019

Complete the Staff Survey and you could win a mini break

Win a holiday in the weekly prize draw

As part of Staff Survey 2019, you could be in with a chance of winning one of 12 £250 vouchers towards a mini break of your choice. A long weekend city break or a big boost for your summer getaway, how you spend your voucher is up to you!

During the survey period, which runs until Monday, 8 April, two people will be picked at random from those who have completed the survey.  So the sooner you complete the survey the more chances you will have of winning, as you’ll be entered into the prize draw every week after you’ve completed it.

Capita, who is managing the survey on behalf of the University, will randomly select the winners, and then let us know. However this will not affect any of the information shared, and all your responses to the Staff Survey will remain completely anonymous.

The draws will take place on:

  • Friday, 15 March 2019
  • Friday, 22 March 2019
  • Friday, 29 March 2019
  • Friday, 5 April 2019
  • Tuesday, 9 April 2019 (after the survey has closed)

Charitable donation

Don’t forget, for every completed survey the University will donate £1 to one of three local charities - Big Change Campaign, LINK Good Neighbours (Trinity House) and City of Trees. You’ll then be asked to select the charity you’d like to send your £1 donation to at the end of the survey.

Complete the survey in private

If you would like a quiet space to answer the survey in private, there are rooms available in the Samuel Alexander Building this March. There’s no need to book, just turn up at the times listed here.

Staff Survey 2017 action progress

Since the last survey, we’ve made a number of improvements to your working environment. In the video below Dr Rachel Cowen and Dr Ines Hahn explain how research staff have a voice at our University.

Your thoughts count!

Staff Survey 2019 runs until Monday, 8 April. You will receive an email or, if you don’t work at a computer, be given the chance to fill in the Staff Survey form. It only takes around 15 minutes to complete, and you can be sure that all the information you supply will be anonymous and treated in strictest confidence. This is because the Staff Survey 2019 is being administered on the University’s behalf by an external company, Capita.

The survey results will be published in June.
