Debate: Is it fair to charge £9,250 for university tuition fees?

The Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS), in collaboration with the University of Manchester invites everyone to attend the debate: ‘Is it fair to charge £9,250 for university tuition fees?’ on Wednesday, 13 March 2019.

Jack Britton, Senior Research Economist at the IFS will provide an economist's perspective on the ongoing tuition fee debate, and Nicholas Barr, Professor of Public Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) will be our Chair, and on hand to put your questions to Jack.

This free event is open to all and takes place on Wednesday, 13 March 2019, from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at University Place, Theatre A (doors open at 3.45pm). Time will be given for questions and answers during the formal proceedings.
