Hear more about the Cloudy with A Chance Of Pain study

Dr Will Dixon will explain the science behind the study at a special event

Many people have wondered about how the weather affects health. Cloudy with a Chance of Pain is a national smartphone study and citizen science experiment that seeks to answer the age-old question about the relationship between weather and pain.  

In this talk Dr Will Dixon will describe this innovative study, its success in collecting data using smartphones, how it involved the public, and present the study findings. Read Dorothy’s story.

Dr Will Dixon is Director of The University of Manchester’s Arthritis Research UK Centre for Epidemiology and Honorary Consultant Rheumatologist.  Dr Dixon will present the findings from the study of over 5 million symptom scores. Read more about how the University is helping to ensure healthy futures for everyone.
