The Great UoM Bake Off

With the impending new series of the Great British Bake Off, we're bringing to you the Great UoM Bake Off
On Wednesday, 24 October from 1pm-2pm, colleagues across the University will come together to compete in the following cake categories:
- Gluten free
- Vegan
- Nut free
- Sugar free
- Brownies
- Cookies
- Classic cake
- Show stopper
We envisage that each division/school/faculty/central team will submit in to at least one of the above categories (however, if there are less than two entries for each category we will avoid that category). You submit individually, in teams or each department could nominate their best baker - maybe have your own mini bake off heats to decide who to put forward? There is no limit to how many people can enter from each team/department.
We are currently recruiting for four judges. If you would like to sit on the judging panel, please let us know.
The winners will be announced on the day of the event, with excellent prizes up for grabs.
If you would like to take part, please email Rachel Mutters rachel.mutters@manchester.ac.uk before 5pm on Friday, 14 September with your name, division and the category you wish to enter. We will then be in touch with the nominated bakers to confirm category entries.
