Cycling event - 5 July
Have you ever thought about cycling to work? Find out more over a free breakfast on Thursday, 5 July. Whatever type of cycle, adaptation or support you need there is likely to be a solution, whether you have a disability, childcare responsibilities or want to improve your confidence. Join our friendly community of cyclists to chat about the practicalities of cycling to work and pick up some advice and information from partner organisations about cycle training and maintenance courses, route guidance, cycling with children and adapted bikes. All attendees will be entered into a draw to win prizes including spa days and gig tickets! Register your place now. The event will be at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) Café from 7:45am until 10:30am.
Wellbeing offer
White Rose Beauty College in Manchester is a private Beauty Therapy training provider located in the heart of Manchester City Centre. They specialise in a range of level 2, 3 and 4 qualifications in Health & Beauty, for 16-18’s and adults. They’re currently working with local organisations and educational establishments to offer a free wellbeing course to staff and students. The initiative behind this is to promote self-care and positive mental health in the workplace. They are offering you the opportunity to take part in their fully funded ITEC Level 2 Diploma in Complementary Therapies programme. The course lasts for a total of 10-15 weeks, with the following options available to choose from: one evening per week 6.00pm- 9.00pm or one day per week 9.30am-4.00pm.
