Staff wellbeing and the menopause

23 Apr 2018

Guidance for managers and the chance to join a support group

Heart in purple

As more and more women are working through the menopause, organisations have begun to recognise the need to provide both guidance and support to their staff at this stage of life.

The University is committed to the wellbeing of its staff, and aims to create an environment where women feel confident enough to raise issues about their symptoms and ask for support at work, and where managers feel confident in holding relevant conversations and providing appropriate support.

So we’re pleased to launch our new guidance for managers on this important issue.

The new guidance aims to raise awareness of menopause related issues at work, and in particular assist managers in supporting staff who are experiencing the menopause and its associated symptoms.
