Get active for summer, plus half price course if you sign up for the GMR10k!

We have yet another busy schedule of activities for the summer term starting week commencing 16 April

Whether it's barre concept, core de force or Indian club swinging, there's lots on offer for everyone in our Be Active courses for the summer term.

Easter Special Deal ½ price 8 week Be Active courses if you sign up to the Great Manchester Run 10K between 15 March and 29 March:

How to claim your ½ price course:

  • Once you have signed up to the 10k, email health.fitness@manchester.ac.uk to claim your ½ price deal – with proof of receipt
  • We will then send you a registration form and instruct you how to pay for your course.

Calling non-runners!

We are trying to encourage non-runners into the 10k and will be offering couch to 5k sessions see here for training times We are also offering a walk jog pacer during the 10k for those who can’t run but would love to be part of this wonderful day. Walkers please sign up the normal GMR10k way to register your place.

Sport Relief – Rise to the challenge 

We will be running a 1 hr HITT session at the Sugden Sports Centre, Friday, 23 March in the main hall, it will be a great workout and set you up ready for the weekend – it's £1 minimum donation, all proceeds will go to Sport Relief.
