Opportunity for team recognition

Teaching excellence

The Higher Education Academy’s Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) recognises and rewards collaborative work that has had a demonstrable impact on teaching and learning. Introduced in 2016, the scheme highlights the key role of teamwork in higher education.

If you are part of a team that is delivering high impact and excellent teaching and learning and would like to be considered for the University’s nomination please send a short expression of interest (no more than 250 words) to teaching.excellence@manchester.ac.uk by 26 March 2018.

Please note staff members must hold fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (any level) or be working towards fellowship. Teams with student members are encouraged. Staff members cannot be nominated for CATE and National Teaching Fellowship in the same year.
