Strike action by Arriva North West and Northern Rail

Bus and rail passengers may be affected by strike action week commencing 6 November

Arriva North West bus drivers and engineers are expected to strike on Monday, 6 November and Wednesday, 8 November.  No planned Arriva bus services will operate within Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Lancashire or Cheshire (except for services running out of the Chester depot 1, 1A, 15, 15A, DB1, DB2, DB4, 3, 3A, 4, 4A, 10, 10A, 82 and services coming into Chester from Wrexham and Rhyl which will run as normal.) Updates will be provided throughout Monday through Arriva North West's social media channels.

In separate action, RMT members are expected to strike on Wednesday, 8 November. Northern Rail passengers may be affected, although the train provider has announced that they will be running approximately 1,300 services during the day.
