Senate election result

A casual vacancy on Senate had arisen, and an election has been held to fill this position

The elected academic will take their seat for the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health on Senate, the body responsible for monitoring standards in teaching and promoting research at the University.

Following a ballot of all academic and research staff in the Faculty, the following staff member has been elected:

• Professor Linda Davies, School of Health Sciences 

Professor Davies will serve until 31 August 2020.

Deputy Secretary, Mark Rollinson, said: “Thank you to the staff members who sought nomination and to all those that voted in the ballot.”
