Bring science to the Manchester Caribbean Carnival

31 Jul 2017

British Science Association needs volunteers for the north west’s largest celebration of Caribbean music and carnival arts

The Manchester Branch of the British Science Association is running science activities at the Caribbean Carnival in Alexandra Park on Saturday, 12 August – and needs volunteers.

The volunteers can help run the activities, make things with festival-goers and generally help make the day a success. It's an exciting opportunity for the BSA to try something new and exciting.

If you're interested in volunteering, even just for a few hours on the day, get in touch with Dr Michael O'Toole at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering for more details:

No particular skills or training are required, the team will go through everything on the day.
