Do you know about student loans for master’s students?

Government-backed PG loan for master’s students is continuing for 2017 entry

Do you work with current undergraduate students who might be considering further study, or applicants / offer-holders for master’s courses? We need your help in making them aware of the Postgraduate Loan for Master’s Students.

The government-backed loan scheme for master’s students (both PGT and PGR), introduced last year, is continuing. It is UK-wide, not just for University of Manchester students. It is not a one-off; it will be available from now on.

It is generally for home students, and works in a similar way to existing UG loans.

If you are likely to have to answer queries about the loan, sign up for one of the briefing sessions being delivered by the Student Funding Team in April or early May.

These sessions will give you the most up-to-date information, and explain where you can send students with more complex queries.
