Rewarding Exceptional Performance

The closing date is approaching for nominations for Rewarding Exceptional Performance award


Our Rewarding Exceptional Performance Policy recognises outstanding achievement by individual staff members by awarding additional pay to staff in grades 1 - 8 who make an exceptional contribution either to a one off task/project, or through a sustained exceptional contribution in their role. An appropriate payment may also be split between a team where it has been a combined effort.

Nominations are usually made by line managers for staff they believe merit this award. Members of staff can also nominate themselves but are encouraged to discuss this with their line manager.

Nominations for academic related and support staff should be made by 31 January 2017; for academic staff, the timetable is set locally.
