Book your place for the January Social Media Surgery
03 Jan 2017
The Surgery returns for 2017, offering staff an opportunity to discuss their social media questions with the social media team
The January Social Media Surgery takes place on 19 January between 11.30am and 1.30pm.
The purpose of the Surgery is to give staff (both professional and academic) the opportunity to discuss a particular social media question or issue - within a professional context - with the social media team at the University.
Staff will be able to book a 30-minute slot where their enquiry will be discussed. Where appropriate, guidance and best practice will be offered on how to tackle the problem.
“The Social Media Surgery was really helpful and insightful,” said Dr Jillian Yeow, Research Associate at Alliance Manchester Business School.
“They gave me suggestions that I hadn’t considered before, which allowed me to broaden the scope of our strategy and hopefully be more successful.”
How to book your slot
Appointments can be booked by emailing Tom Mason, Senior Social Media Coordinator, firstname.lastname@example.org
Staff are requested to include a short description of the issue for discussion and appointments will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Social Media Surgery is hosted in The John Owens Building (LG020).
