Book your place for the December Social Media Surgery

The Social Media Surgery from the Division of Communications and Marketing returns in December, offering staff an opportunity to discuss their social media questions.

The next social media surgery takes place on Tuesday, 13 December between 1.30pm and 4pm.

The purpose of the Social Media Surgery is to give staff (both professional and academic) the opportunity to discuss a particular social media question or issue – within a professional context – with the social media team at the University.

Staff will be able to book a 30-minute slot where their enquiry will be discussed. Where appropriate, guidance and best practice will be offered on how to tackle the problem.

“The Social Media Surgery was really helpful and insightful,” said Dr Jillian Yeow, Research Associate at Alliance Manchester Business School.

“They gave me suggestions that I hadn’t considered before, which allowed me to broaden the scope of our strategy and hopefully be more successful.”
