Large-scale careers events at Manchester Central

09 Nov 2016

Next week, The Careers Service is hosting two fairs at Manchester Central Convention Centre for students and graduates

The two events will give students and graduates the opportunity to explore their future options with a number of employers, universities and other institutions.

The Law Fair - Tuesday, 15 November (12.30-4pm)

The Law Fair is ideal for any student or graduate interested in a career in the legal sector, from both law and non-law courses. Students will have the opportunity to speak to firms of solicitors about their opportunities for vacancy placements and training contracts, discuss law courses with training providers and to find out about careers at the Bar or other areas of Law.

Over 100 exhibitors will be there this year, from solicitors and course providers to professional legal bodies such as the Bar, Young Legal Aid Lawyers and The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. The full details are available on the website.

The Postgraduate Study Fair - Wednesday, 16 November (11am-3.30pm)

The Postgraduate Study Fair features over 90 institutions all offering courses and further training for September 2017. This is an opportunity for our students to plan their next steps by meeting with representatives from universities from throughout the UK and overseas, and hear about the hundreds of postgraduate course places on offer.

As well as a huge number of universities, there will be a number of advisory bodies such as FindAMasters.com, FindAPhD.Com and The Australian Trade Commission. The full list is available on the website.
