Veronique stands up to cancer

01 Nov 2016

Veronique Rizzuto from the Equality and Diversity Office plans to spin for two hours non-stop to raise money for North West Cancer Research

On Sunday, 13 November, Veronique will be spinning (or studio cycling) for two hours without a break at Victoria Leisure Centre in Southport. She aims to raise funds for North West Cancer Research in memory of her friend, Kathryn Curran, who lost her brave battle against cancer.

North West Cancer Research is one of the biggest and most influential charities in the North West for understanding cancer. With its increased strength and size, it leads the way in the fight against cancer where only world-class research will do.
