Free event as part of Ordnance Survey National Map Reading Week

Map

No prior experience needed for this informal one-hour workshop on Tuesday 18 October at 12:30pm.

We’ll introduce choosing the right maps, understanding symbols, unravelling the mysteries of contours, locating a place on the map and using a compass.

The workshop is free but booking is essential through Eventbrite.  It will take place in room 4.47 in the Simon Building.  It’s open to all adults, whether you’re staff, students or the general public.

The event is run by Lunchtime Strollers as part of Ordnance Survey National Map Reading Week.  Enhance your skills and enjoy the great outdoors with confidence!
