Death of Emeritus Professor Ronald Beresford Dew

It is with sadness that we report the death of Emeritus Professor Ronald Beresford Dew who passed recently, just short of his 100th birthday

Ronald was a Chartered Accountant and Barrister and a member of the University's Court and Council. He was head of UMIST from 1963 to 1980 and was a founder member of Manchester Business School and member of the Council for ten years.

There will be a service to celebrate Professor Beresford Dew's life at Wiveton Church, Norfolk on Sunday 22 May at 2pm.
