24 Feb 2016

Two events during British Science Week

Cancer Research UK and the Manchester Cancer Research Centre (MCRC) will be hosting two public events on the Monday, 14 and Thursday, 17 March to celebrate British Science Week.

Join us on 14 March in the brand new MCRC building, to find out how researchers in Manchester are helping to beat cancer sooner.

You’ll hear about our latest research progress, take a tour around our labs and learn about the latest tools and techniques that our scientists are using for their pioneering research.

Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance. Attendees must be 18 years old or above.

Come along to the MCRC on 17 March to hear from Dr James O’Connor, CRUK clinician scientist and Honorary Consultant Radiologist at The Christie Hospital, speaking about his pioneering work as part of our research café series.

This short, informal talk is aimed at a general audience and anyone is welcome to attend.
