Places now available on the ‘Managerial Pursuits’ workshop

23 Feb 2016

A new and fun way for Middle Managers to develop their managerial skills and better understand University policies and procedures.

Managerial Pursuits is a two day programme aimed at Middle Managers – grades 5, 6 and 7, with direct reports - which looks at correct and appropriate use of University policies and procedures. All aspects of an employee’s life – from probation to retirement/resignation - are included and the course is run with the support of an HR Partner.

Managerial Pursuits is based on a board game format and includes plenty of discussion, punctuated by group exercises aimed at developing managerial skills.

In order to get the best from the programme we need a minimum of 12 people to run the sessions. If you find you are unable to attend, please inform us at least 2 weeks before so that your place can be offered to someone else. If the numbers fall below 12 we may have to cancel the sessions.
