Fake "Staff Notice" email - do not click the link in the email

We've been made aware of a fake email entitled "Staff Notice". This is a phishing email and should be deleted.

Organization: no-reply@manchester.ac.uk
Date: Monday, 15 February 2016 12:41
Subject: Staff Notice

This is an e-mail message sent automatically by Microsoft Outlook, your password will expire in 24 hours Click Here to upgrade your account.

Thank You


Under no circumstances should you click on the link.

Beware of emails from unfamiliar sources, or those which are asking for confidential information, even if they appear to be from legitimate people.

Never share your IT account details with anyone, and remember that IT Support staff will not ask you for your password.
