Global Impact Awards for students wanting to travel in summer 2016

Do you know of a student wanting to travel in the summer of 2016?

The Alumni Association is offering Travel Awards of £250 to help current students bring practical or social benefits to an international community.

Students could be eligible to receive a Global Impact Award if:

they are a current UG or PG student not in their final year of study;
their trip will benefit the community they are visiting in a social or practical manner;
their trip will enhance their broader development;
they have identified and approached other sources of funding;
they are enthusiastic and committed to travelling.

Applications will not be considered if:

students are travelling to their country of origin;
students are travelling for leisure, a sports event or to an academic conference.

Please forward this message to students whom you feel may benefit from the award.

Deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday, 4 March 2016.
