Restart a heart as part of World Record Attempt

13 Oct 2015

Learn CPR and take part in the World Record Attempt in University Place Plaza on Friday, 16 October 2015

The University has already shown a strong commitment to supporting resuscitation through the deployment of automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) across campus, and other training initiatives including student volunteers. On 16 October, we would like to try to beat the World Record for a CPR relay (set in June 2015 by the American Heart Association in Times Square and captured in this video):

We need as many people as possible to take part in this initiative. If you'd like to learn how to re-start a heart, please sign up online at:

Please help to publicise the event by downloading and displaying the poster below in your local area and distributing via clubs, groups, Facebook and Twitter (participants do not have to work or study at the University).
