Simon and Hallsworth Fellowships Showcase

12 Oct 2015

Early career research funding in Social Sciences and Political Economy

The Simon and Hallsworth endowments fund early career research fellowships in Social Sciences (Simon) and Political Economy (Hallsworth).

Fellows can be hosted by any of the Schools within the Faculty of Humanities, or by the School of Psychological Sciences, the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work or the Centre for the History of Science, Technology and Medicine.

This year’s Simon and Hallsworth Fellowships showcase will be taking place on Monday, 19 October 2015. The showcase will feature presentations by researchers who have received the award detailing how it has helped them progress in their career.

There will also be a presentation from the Chair of the Committees, Professor Nicola Glover-Thomas, on the application process. After the presentations, there will be a networking session for potential applicants, which will enable you to find out more information, talk to current fellows and enjoy the buffet lunch.

The event will take place in the Kanaris Lecture Theatre, Manchester Museum, from 11am - 2pm.
