Hula hoop, belly dance or juggle your way to health!

22 Sep 2015

Check out the free activities during Wellbeing Week (5-9 October)

Wellbeing

Wellbeing Week is nearly upon us! For one week we invite you to participate in lots of different free activities in the newly refurbished Well Being rooms in Simon Building.

For five days you’ll be able to engage in free fun things that will get your body moving and your brain working.

Ever fancied hula hooping, belly dancing or juggling? Well, they are all covered!  Or how about something more sedate like tai chi, drawing art or colouring in?  Yes – we’ve got those too!  And for the more mood related activities, why not try our Muse bands, learn tips on motivation, or training yourself on how to relax effectively.

There are so many ways to engage.  And even for those without much time you can still take advantage of events like healthy breakfasts or just come and relax for 15 minutes in the chill out room on one of the huge beanbags!

You can find more information at:

We’re also appealing for volunteers – would you be able to spare some time to assist with the activities: directing people to classes for example?  Or do you play a musical instrument?  You could be a busker for an hour or so – we are aiming to fill the campus with music!

If you are interested, then contact:

And don’t forget to use #UoMWellbeing

All classes are drop in, so no need to book, and did we mention they are all free?
