University Choir and Orchestra Society seeks Musical Director

Can you lead our soprano, alto, tenor and bass singers?

The University Choir and Orchestra Society (CAOS) is seeking a new Musical Director.

The choir is soprano, alto, tenor and bass and meet for rehearsals on Tuesday evenings during term time at the Hulme Halls of Residence.

The musical director must be available to lead the rehearsals and three concerts in the year, in December, March and April/May.

The closing date for applications is Monday, 31 August 2015.

CAOS is a non-audition social society, which provides musicians with a space to come together and perform music to a good standard for the benefit of themselves and the community at large. Membership is open to all ages, genders, abilities and backgrounds. New members are welcome to join at any point during the year even if they have not sung before or it has been a while since they have played their instrument.

Both choir and orchestra rehearse on Tuesdays during term time at Hulme Halls of Residence, Victoria Park. The choir rehearse 6-8pm and the orchestra rehearse 8.15-10.15pm.
