Lucky seven go to Manchester International Festival

With just two weeks to go to Manchester International Festival (MIF15), seven members of University staff have each won a pair of complimentary tickets and booking is still open for a number of productions

As a Silver Supporter of MIF15 (2-19 July), the University has been allocated free tickets for a range of events. The winners of the prize draw for staff, which ran from 4 to 11 June, have each won two tickets for the following productions:

  • Vivien Browne, Manchester Business School - The Immortal/Requiem (Saturday, 4 July)
  • Deborah Nash, Manchester Medical School - Bjork (Sunday, 5 July)
  • Angela Farrand, University Language Centre - The Skriker (Wednesday, 8 July)
  • Stephen Johnston, Directorate of Human Resources - Tree of Codes (Thursday, 9 July)
  • Shahina Islam, Directorate  for the Student Experience - Invisible Dot Cabaret (Saturday, 11 July)
  • Johnny Restall, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering - Arvo Part and Manchester Camerata (Sunday, 12 July)
  • Ian Evans, Institute of Inflammation and Repair - The Crocodile (Friday, 17 July)

If you weren't so lucky, but would like to get in on the Festival buzz, tickets are still available for some MIF15 productions.
