University launches a veg box scheme

Get seasonal, local and organic vegetables every week
The University is about to launch its own veg box scheme in association with Manchester Veg People the cooperative that supply locally sourced, organic vegetables to catering outlets across campus. The scheme named the Veg Box People are looking for 100 people to sign up to receive a weekly box of delicious, seasonal organic produce starting from £8 per week.
The first veg boxes will be ready for collection on Tuesday 2nd June from their street market stall by George Kenyon Hall between 12:00pm and 5:30pm and then every Tuesday going forward including out of term.
